Attorney at law Michał Sowa established his Law Office in 2005 after passing the bar exam with a very good result. He was awarded a doctoral degree after graduating from his doctoral studies and defending his thesis in 2005. The thesis, which won him an A grade, was entitled "Computer Crime – an examination of the effectiveness and usefulness of criminalisation."

Since that time, he has represented clients in proceedings before courts - civil, business, family, labour, criminal, land registry divisions as well as before KRS (National Court Register), the Supreme Court, before the prosecutor's office, the Police, CBŚ (the Polish Central Bureau of Investigation), CBA (the Polish Central Anti-corruption Bureau), ABW (the Polish Internal Security Agency), in enforcement proceedings conducted by judicial officers, in proceedings conducted by administrative authorities (Voyevodes, Ministers), before the heads of tax offices and the Director of the Tax Chamber, Voyevodeship Administrative Court and Chief Administrative Court, before the Arbitration Tribunal and the National Board of Appeal of the President of the Public Procurement Office.

Since 2005 and 2006 he has been providing regular legal services for two local cultural institutions from Krakow. He was involved in an EU-funded investment project of constructing new facilities for these institutions.

He provided legal services during the sale of a production facility outside Krakow to a foreign investor which also included a simultaneous takeover of the workforce. He handled the sale of a multi-tenant residential building by its foreign owners.

Since 2006 and 2007 he has been providing regular legal services to commercial companies with a share capital amounting to tens of millions of Polish zloty each which also entailed a number of merger procedures.

Since January 2012 he has been a member of the Voyevode Commission for the Pronouncement on Medical Cases in Krakow which acts on behalf of the Małopolska region Voyevode.

Since 2013 he has been a deputy member of the District Bar Council in Krakow. Prior to that he was a member of the Bar Examination Board.

In 2013 Mr Sowa's Law Office joined the "Business Ideals" programme organized by Idea Bank, KRD, Forbes, PARP and the Polish National Chamber of Commerce.
